PUBLIC NOTICE

Planning Board Meeting Time Change

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a time change will take place at the regularly scheduled Planning Board Meeting at the Town of Middlesex Town Hall on Wednesday, February 1, 2012.  This meeting for Site Plan Application Reviews will start at 6:00pm instead of the usually scheduled time and will be a change for this date only. All applications to be reviewed by the Planning Board are available for public review at the Office of Code Enforcement at Town Hall.

Annual Preliminary Budget

Public Hearing

             Notice is hereby given that the Annual Preliminary Budget of the Town of Middlesex for the year 2012 has been completed and filed in the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Middlesex.  The Middlesex Town Board will hold a Public Hearing at the Middlesex Town Hall, Middlesex, New York, Yates County, on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. to review the Preliminary Budget.  Any person may be heard, in favor or against, any item or items therein contained.

            The proposed salaries of the Supervisor, Town Clerk/Tax Collector, Highway Superintendent, Justice and each member of the Town Board are as follows:

            Town Councilman (each): $  2,200.00

            Supervisor: $  4,000.00

            Town Clerk: $  5,400.00

            Tax Collector: $  5,100.00

            Town Justice: $  4,900.00

            Highway Superintendent: $52,000.00

            By order of the Middlesex Town Board, a copy of the Preliminary Budget is available at the office of the Town Clerk, where it may be inspected by any interested persons during regular hours or at the link below.

Town of Middlesex Steep Slope Laws Update

The Planning Board and the Town Board are currently in the process of reviewing and editing drafts of current town Steep Slope Laws to reflect necessary upgrades to regulate all potential impact of development in managing stormwater runoff, erosion control and water quality as it pertains to streams and our lake.
